Prospector Hotel & Gambling Hall

One of the most comfortable, clean, we'll staffed and friendly hotels I've ever stayed at - and our pets felt welcome too! Wirh back issues I have to be careful about my accomodations; the beds here are wonderful. Everything from the rooms to the drinks and food are fantastic and the staff is very helpful and friendly! We stay here everytime we are in town. Well done guys! A+ all the way!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. There are No elevators in this hotel (motel). I was surprised that I had to pay $5.00 for my beer while I was playing in the casino. If you order a non- domestic beer you have to pay for it. Very strange. We ate dinner in the restaurant. We both had rib eye steak. I wish I had taken a picture. Half of the stake was fat. The rest of the dinner was good. I'm adding some pictures to help you know what is in your room. I think the website could be better. Not a bad place to stay especially for Ely Nv.

Great place to stay. We travel through every year and this year we decided to make a 2 day trip vs 1 ans stay the night in Ely. Price was great. I gave it 4 stats as the pool and hot tub was closed. I was looking forward to the hot tub and soak. Also had a runny toilet had to fix each time.

We had a blast at the Prospector… dog friendly, fun lounge & casino, and great food at their restaurant! Our room had very comfy beds and the dogs enjoyed the complementary dog treats & dog bed. We will definitely be back. Also, it was packed with locals, and the locals always know the best spots in town. :)

We are giving this hotel 5 stars, not in the traditional sense of luxury spa, which is not us. Normally we stay at branch hotels but recently have decided to change our ways, as too many brands are failing for their price tags. The Prospector made us happy we did. The hotel is clean and centrally located. The people are kind and the service is great. The rooms are dog friendly, yet do not appear to be, they are so well kept. The fee for your pet is $10 and there was a grassy area for the pets. The bathroom was spotless and the beds comfortable. We did not eat at the hotel as the wait was too long. We had a drink, that had to be searched out. Help in the bar area seemed scarce. The gift shop is filled with amazing trinket and gifts. Our only comment would be, a water bowl for dog in the room. we will stay again when passing through.

Great hotel with lots of character. Enjoyed the warm welcome from the front desk. Good food as well. Only thing is the thin doors as there was a barking dog next door. However the front desk attendant ensured us she would let our neighbors know! We didn’t hear the dog after that.

Cute place to stop on the way to Vegas! Adorable Gift Shop, incredibly delicious restaurant and love the decorations throught the entire place. Hallways have paintings and pictures from around the area and the rooms are clean and huge. Would love to come back and explore the area.

The hotel grounds are very well maintained. Easy access for parking. The hotel staff were very friendly and pleasant. The prices were very reasonable. The hotel is dog friendly. . The gaming area is good size unfortunately it's a smoking casino. I would definitely stay here again.
